Composer, pianist, conductor and arranger for the Big Band, Chamber and Symphony Orchestra. He graduated from the Music Academy in Sarajevo - Department of Ethnomusicology and Conducting. In 1982 and 1983 he attended the Berklee Colledge of Music, Boston USA where he completed his professional jazz arrangement in the class of prof. H. Pomeroy.
1981, he participates at Eurosong as arranger and conductor. He was a longtime member of the Sarajevo group “Indexi”. He has cooperated with many ensembles of classical, pop and rock music (Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, Sarajevo Opera Orchestra, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersbourgh Glinka Orchestra, Bijelo Dugme rock band, etc.). From 1974 to 1992 he worked as a conductor of the RTV BiH Dance Orchestra (RTV Sarajevo). In the field of jazz music, he achieved significant cooperation as an arranger and conductor with many prominent jazz artists: Dusko Gojkovic, Gianni Basso, Bora Rokovic, Ladislav Fidri, Stjepko Gut, the Czech Radio Jazz Orchestra, etc.
He writes music for film, TV, theatre ("The Perfect Circle" - A. Kenović, "The scent of quince" by M. Idrizović, Jasmina by N. Begović, theatre plays by Woyzek, Gamlet et al., TV series and the movie "My brother Alex" etc.). He is the author of arrangements for the official version of the current national anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
From 1992-2015, he lived in Israel where he continued his musical work. On demand of Israeli radio, and in collaboration with writer and screenwriter Dj. Lebovic, he wrote the composition "Yugoslavia in Four Movements" which was performed at the Kfar Blum Festival of Serious Music. He worked as a professor of jazz harmony, arranging and piano at the Hed College of Contemporary Music in Tel Aviv (most recently part of Ono - Academic College), where he also served as an academic advisor. He also acted as the conductor of a professional Big Band at the same college he worked for as a full-time arranger.

Since 2015 he has lived in Porec - Istria, Croatia. He continued his professional work through cooperation with the Sarajevo Academy of Music, where he taught jazz harmony in the school year 2016/17, and occasionally appeared on the Croatian music scene as an arranger (Oliver's 70th Anniversary Concert, A foreign-music show HRT).
