A story about a boy whose mother was killed as a fighter defending Sarajevo. The boy takes a rose from the garden his mother worked on and brings it to her grave, but when he comes again - the rose is not there any more. Through the sad confession of the boy we meet the people of his environment; his grandfather, grandmother, aunt and his friends - his mothers colleagues, fighters, people who bring warmth and love to the boy, in these cruel times.
